Pope John Paul 11 Awards

The purpose of the award is to recognise and affirm the good work that young people are doing in their parish and in their community. It is also hoped the award will enable students to become more actively involved in the life of their parish and community. It is based on the principle that religion is for living and through taking an active part in church and community people can experience the contentment and fulfilment that comes from serving others, especially those in need.

The award is non-competitive, flexible and voluntary.

It is earned through Parish Involvement and Social Awareness and the preparation of a 1500 word presentation.

Each year a number of our TY students work towards achieving an award.

Our TY 2018/19 group featured a number of Gold and Silver awards.
