Well done to Fiona Neylon who has been awarded a Naughton Scholarship.
The Naughton Scholarship programme was established in 2008 to promote and reward the study of Science, Engineering , Technology and Maths at 3rd Level.
This year the Naughton Foundation is awarding 36 annual scholarships to exceptional students from all 26 counties, with at least one scholarship guaranteed per county.
Well done to Fiona Neylon who has been awarded a Scholarship of €5,000 per annum for the duration of her undergraduate degree programme. In addition, the school will receive €1,000.
The Annual Awards ceremony took place on Saturday 23rd September at the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, TCD where the winning students and schools were presented with their medals and cheques.
Fiona is studying Biological and Chemical Sciences in UL. She achieved a H1 in Chemistry, a H1 in Biology and a H2 in Maths!
