Welcome to Coláiste Muireā€™s website. Since 1860 our school has been a centre of innovation in education and excellence in learning and teaching. Today we are a modern vibrant school catering for girls in Ennis and the surrounding area.

Leaving Cert students are busy preparing for their oral exams in
French, German and Irish which begin after the Easter Holidays
while junior Cert Irish oral exams take place March 9 to March 13.
Music practicals take place also April 13 to April 17. We wish all our
students every success!

» Action Aid Speech Writing Competition
Congratulations to Fridaous Karimu who was presented with a cert
by Sharon Ni Bheoláin on March 3 after reaching the finals of the
Action Aid speech writing competition. The presentation took place
in the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin.

» WALK TO SCHOOL - GREAT SUCCESS
The walk/cycle to school initiative which took place on a wet Friday
13 before mid term was a big success in Coláiste. Cars did not
appear in the car parks until after 10am while a large number of
students and staff walked or cycled to school
Well done to all who organised and participated in the event.
